Heartache

Deadly silence fills the air
Heavy heartaches and despair
drains the life that used to be
look at what you've done to me

The smile that once crossed my face
that has now been replaced
by a flow of tears streaming down
and the foolish feeling of a clown

I will be strong
I will move on
But this pain
it will remain
as a reminder of what used to be
when there was hope for you and me
